Twenty Percent Decline of TV Sets in British Homes

The number of televisions has fallen to less than two per home in the United Kingdom, according to a report from TV Licensing.

There are now 1.83 television sets per household in the United Kingdom, down from an average of 2.3 sets in 2003.

That is a 20% reduction of almost 0.5 sets per home over a decade, even though screens have been getting larger and cheaper.
