Upside for Internet Use in the Middle East and North Africa

The Middle East and North Africa region, when viewed as a whole, still has a relatively low internet penetration rate — it’s expected to reach 17.4% of the population this year, according to eMarketer.

But Ipsos MediaCT identified a number of countries with significant online populations.

Saudi Arabia topped the list — with 8.5 million people who have internet access.
