50 New Internet of Things Start-Ups Launched in 2014

As the universe of connected devices gathers momentum across consumer wearables, smart homes, industrial applications, and many more avenues, we look at startups that are providing the building blocks to this ecosystem for the Internet of Things infrastructure. In terms of venture capital funding, over $1 billion has been invested is this sector so far, with around 50 companies funded in just the last 12 months (which is at the rate of nearly one per week).
