American Smartphone Growth Softens to One Percent

Looking at the 2015 outlook, the focus in the American mobile service provider marketplace is slowly shifting from smartphone devices to software applications — it’s all part of the ongoing Mobile Cloud services trend. comScore reports that 174 million people in the U.S. owned smartphones (72 percent penetration) during the three months ending in September — that’s up by just 1 percent since June.
