Global Mobile Messaging Apps Reach 1.4 Billion People in 2016

By 2019, more than one-quarter of the world’s population will be using mobile messaging apps, according to eMarketer. Mobile phone messaging apps are already used by more than 1.4 billion people in 2016 — that’s a Y-to-Y increase of almost 16 percent.
