First Laser Projector Launches the Next-Gen of Digital Cinema

The world’s first commercially-acquired laser projector in a cinema will be showcased at the Seattle Cinerama Theatre. The 4K digital laser projector, with scalable light output up to 60,000 lumens, is expected to be installed in early 2014.

Laser could provide a great visual experience with better clarity and more brightness for the screen compared to the current Xenon/UHP (and now mercury) illumination systems.
