According to research from eTail, retailers’ top marketing technology priorities emphasized email and personalization. Specifically, increasing the amount of personalization in email topped marketing tech wish lists for 20% of U.S. retailers — that’s more than any other option.
In the UK, email open rates on mobile remain impressive. According to a study which monitored activity on its platform, 71% of total email opens in the UK during Q1 2015 took place on mobile devices. Smartphones were the largest contributors to the pie, with a 42% share.
According to B2B marketing execs worldwide, email was most effective during the awareness and consideration stages of the buying process, at 72% and 69% of respondents. Once the purchase stage came about, the number dropped to 36%.
Millions of older people in Germany can no longer imagine life without the internet. More than half of older internet users (52%) said the web had improved their quality of life, and six in 10 said it helped keep them mentally fit.
