Exploring the United States of Connected Devices

Citizens in the world’s third most-populous nation are now outnumbered by Internet-connected devices.

The most recent census pegs the U.S. population at more than 315 million people, but new data from research firm NPD Group estimates that more than 425 million Web-connected devices reside in U.S. homes.
